So here we are in "s-candle-gate" day two and the crowds are still roaring over the $3.00 price increase on the purchase price of two candles now being implemented. Bath and Body Works has answered their complaints with an explanation... and the crowd is still displeased. Try knocking on the farmers door and ask to speak to the cow when the cost of milk keeps going up now to almost $4.00 a gallon. You may get a moo...as in move on, there are worse things in the world to be upset about. I am not diminishing anyone's right to be upset and telling the company so...but as I said before...money talks louder than any ranting on a facebook page could. If it upsets you, don't buy them. They will get the message. Or you can do this. Buy two candles at $25.00, instead of adding in another candle as we have done before...add in something for $5, or $6. dollars. Two candles and a $6.00 scrub for $31.00. Use that survey coupon they are so generous to give us. Knocks ten dollars off. Now $21.00 for two candles and a scrub. That makes each candle around $8.38 and drops the price of the scrub to $4.24. $8.38 is MUCH less than the jar sticker price of $22.50 each.
