Bath & Body Works | FIRST LOOK : Hawaii Collection | February 25, 2015

Early this morning when I checked Bath and Body Works website I found a lot of new Hawaii Collection items coming March 9th (or sooner) for sale.

Then by 11 am, the First Look email arrived letting me know that there was a 24 hour pop up shop for these new items.

I am not sure why I saw the items for sale prior to getting the First Look email...nor do I know if the new Hawaii items will disappear later tomorrow. I guess we will see then.

In the beginning of the year I posted a detailed list of the new scents and notes coming out in both Body Care and Home Fragrance. We see on this list a large selection of the Home Fragrances were listed as White Barn Exclusives, which makes me think we will NOT be seeing these scents launch nationwide in all Bath and Body Works stores. Fortunately, there are B&BW test stores that have been launching these "exclusives" and because of that we can get a peek at what they will look like because of Ebay sellers like makingsunshinehappen, who recently posted these photos. Thanks to them for offering these new candles on the secondary market so some may enjoy these "redo" candle scents. And Poo Poo on the B for excluding the rest of us.

This line drew some criticism over the lack of lids...again, and the White Barn stores solution to that was adding some...that are so generic looking it isn't even laughable. Having not seen these lidded jars in person to truly give my thoughts, seeing them on the secondary market my opinion is they definitely made them look like NO thought was put into a lid. Clearly the other lines have some detail to them...they couldn't come with a lace like look embossed lid for a candle line that is named So Pretty?
