Welcome to Life Inside the Page, a space where scent meets soul.
Writing has always been my anchor. From the handwritten journals of my youth to the blog posts I share today, it’s how I’ve traced where I’ve been, what I’ve loved, and how I’ve grown. Over a decade ago, I began blogging online—not just to document life’s moments, but to connect with others who were also navigating their own stories.
Then, everything changed.
In an unimaginable act of road rage, I lost my only child, my beautiful daughter Angeline, at just 23 years old. My world stopped. I spent the next five years pouring my heart into a blog called A Finch in the Willow, writing daily through grief, pain, and healing. Those pages held my sorrow—but also my strength.
In 2012, I was ready to write again—differently. Life Inside the Page was born from that moment. Here, I combine my love for journaling with my passion for Bath & Body Works, fragrance, and the little joys that make life feel lighter. This blog is a celebration of scent, seasons, memories, and meaning. It’s where I share all of me—the hard days, the happy finds, the silly moments, and the scent of something new.
I believe every day is a gift, and every page we fill is part of a greater story.
