The Case of the Oops APP
There were no coupons in the APP today to save anything on today's release of the milk bar collab -- or none to see on my phone since the APP is still not working. I checked on the computer before I left and I can see my account intact. I have talked with customer service twice and we followed the steps to try to get it back, but so far, it's still stuck...stuck in the days of Member Fest. I shared a few newer photos showing up on the APP when you go to sign in, but my issues seem to be the signing in part. Hopefully, a fix can be figured out before holiday releases.
I know I am not alone in having issues. Sometimes updates cause little issues that still need to be fixed. I'm sure we will get there.
The Store Visit
We were alone at the gate today right before opening and I could see the collab table set up behind the front table and it was filled with goodies. I have heard of the brand but never tried anything from them food wise. Loving gourmand things, I was curious how my body chemistry would fare...and in a few minutes after waiting, I found out.
Birthday Cake
Who doesn't love Birthday Cake and this packaging was adorable, Bright pink and cream color accents with a small assortment of products to choose from made deciding what to buy easy. Almost Everything!
I noticed the Diamond Shimmer Mist, and Body Wash shown in the ads released was not out and it should be coming with the FULL release happening I think, on September 19th. Ah, dates and the BBW...always changing, forever in motion.
The Fragrance Itself
I sprayed the tester fine fragrance mist on me, and I wasn't thrilled with the scent initially -- on me. Don't get me wrong, the fragrance on the paper, delicious. On my arm, it changes. Not great. Maybe sprayed on my clothes would be better, I don't know, I usually spray skin, but it is something I can try next time I visit. By the time I got to check out, the fragrance changed on my arm, and it was better. Buying something and hoping it gets better is not what I want to start collecting. Today, I did not purchase any Body Care from this Collection, and there was not a Lip Care item offered.
Pricing
The price range for this "milk bar" collaboration ranged from $3.95 to $27.95. The spray Hand Sanitizer Refill being the lower end of the pricing and the Three Wick Candle was the higher end. Please note: the spray sanitizer is in a clear bottle, and the fluid is colored PINK.
This collaboration offered three of its items on a promotion price sale that happened today. The three wick candles were still on promo of 2 for $25 and they qualified; the Hand Sanitizer Sprays came down from $3.95 to $3.33 (3 for $10) as did the Hand Soaps come down from their $8.95 regular pricing to the Email Coupon Code pricing of $3.25 each. My BOPIS order was ready when I arrived, but I wanted to grab a few other things in store before leaving and the soaps on sale made that list.
What Else I Found
I didn't get any more ©DISNEY VILLAINS Hand Soaps today...the two I got and paid $19.08 for was enough.
©DISNEY VILLAINS body care is also marked buy 3 get 3 free now. That display in my store is still filled.
I also added the Champagne Toast Lip Oil to my purchase. Priced at $12.95 it was a bit too low of a price to use an $18.95 reward on and after smelling the New Heirloom Rose Wellness coming soon, any earned rewards are going for that!
