I was shown a photo of a Champagne Toast three wick candle and asked if I knew where that label came. I searched the special gift posts thinking it was a Super Saturday Box or something at holiday and, here is the post from then. 2022. Spread the word the blog is still here (IG is still there and open....empty of content but access to messages is open) and the info will continue to be shared here on the blog. If I have to sky write it, or launch carrier pigeons, I am going to do all I can to hold onto it. I've changed passwords here too, and short of posting killer attack dogs, I am doing what I can. Plus backing up content to move it if necessary.
Facebook is not very helpful --- shocker.
Posting this to slow down the hate posts of speculation...which will still happen....
I woke to the two messages from Facebook regarding the pending suspension and deletion of my Life Inside The Page Daily Finds due to spamming. I shared them in that group page.
I have received messages like those before that I thought were hacking and I ignored them....and then got a four day suspension for a pocketbac holders recording for a collaboration. Then, it suspended not only the LITPDF public page, but also my personal page. So I took it seriously.
After finding the message today, I went into the section to file an appeal and hesitated on sending it....took care of other things....thought about deleting it myself, or waiting to see what would happen....and made lunch.
My husband thought I should file the appeal before I lose the page. Wrong choice.
Everything was removed. Every access to everything I had. All of the group pages I had, which can be replaced as a page, but tens of years of content can't.....but the worst devastation for me now is the loss of my personal page with all of the photos of my daughter that were saved there....as well as the other family who have passed. I had hundreds of albums filled of life. now lost. Very upsetting beyond the words I can type.
Was it Facebook??? I am not sure. When I tried to log in, there was a message telling me I lost FB because of a IG suspension with some random name and a photo of some woman. When I tried to log in again, it said the page was suspended.
I am assuming it was a hack by some &^%$#! And not because I shared info that I do....which I see is already the leading gossip. Well, it could be some &^%$#! who hated me because I share and didn't much care for my attitude...But I don't think it was anything BBW at all. Just another &^%$#! .. or FB.
The candles were $10 off today in store ---- noticing the signage as I ran past the front of the store on the way to grab a Subway Hoagie. I didn't check my email before I left for errands but the signage did entice me to wander in to see if there was anything I must get. My store looked great, and plenty full of products to choose from.
Halloween went 50% off too with the email code and it included that last collaboration of items left in store as well. I wasn't interested in any of those items, but I did grab another skeleton cosmetic backpack, and the last two mini Halloween totes. I tossed in one of each Halloween Pocketbacs and a new, black holder. $24 and change later I was back in pursuit of my hoagie.
Wallflower bulbs were also on sale, but I didn't need any of those...but it was a good price point.

So much Holiday is hitting store back rooms and it all looks sooo festive. I am hoping that the stores are a feel of Winter Wonderland this year and not this Boutique feeling. You are going for an upscale feel targeted towards a certain market opposed to large retailers --- Great! --- Your core buyers are talking about shopping those retailers because of how they feel when they are there in store ...and their pricing. Make it the best it can be.
Cue the Snow Covered Trees with the scent of Fresh Balsam filling the air, decking the tables and the halls, so to speak.
Decadent table displays from years past with loads of character and charm surrounding this years offerings, that's what I am looking for.
We have enough going on in our days, if we are going to spend money we need a place to lose ourselves in as we shop for gifts for giving and for ourselves. You missed with the Semi-Annual Sale Marketing...don't make the same mistake with Holiday.
So many of the collections packaging is beautiful! We will be celebrating the 25th Year Anniversary with Winter Candy Apple this year!!! And I hear that the Accessories will be on overload with lots and lots to chose from. I am so excited....can you tell?

Summer fading into Fall
A little tomato seed found its way in the Lavender and Pumpkin Patch and late in the year these little tomatoes are trying their best to grow. These late blooming pumpkin seeds also have tiny pumpkins under the leaves.
I will clear these beds last just to see how far they get. Fall clean up is just as hard as Spring planting, and the ragweed and pollen/mildew on the leaves is reeking havoc with my sinuses.

Please Note - as what happens often throughout the year - but especially around the holidays - Bath and Body Works is testing out various promo offers and price points to see what we, their loyal fan base, prefer. It is nothing new and for those that received an email of $4.95 body care, lucky you! For the rest of us, I am sure at one time soon we will all be able to get a great promo on something we want.
Usually if your area stores are among those offering these different promos, you're going to get the email notification.
Now just a bit about yesterday's more touchy subject - the Disappearing 25% off Coupon.
Stuff Happens. We would all be lucky if THAT was the worst thing that happens to us in a day -- The Bath and Body Works coupon disappeared out of my APP wallet.
Bath and Body Works offered a great coupon through the APP to help drive sales via that platform. For whatever reasons, the APP glitched when it went live (as things sometimes do) and allowed extra coupon stacking and bunches of people who were up and saw it "shopped" that sale. We know because we saw all of the screenshots of savings shared alllll over social letting us know.
Bath and Body Works removed the coupon from the APP to stop the discounts. And social posts were not happy.
The worst thing that they did was to say in response to the removal was - it wasn't supposed to happen, there was no coupon....while alerting stores as to what happened.
I mean, the ad for the coupon launched in the email. It was something planned. People knew and saw the ad in their emails and for some who were awake during the launch, they saved TONS on tons of candles.
And that could have been the issue.
Did they cancel those orders? I haven't read that any have been.
From what we know they stopped the coupon, and later in the day let stores know that that promo was cancelled. The End.
But not for some who are up in arms over it enough to try and rally people to boycott the brand to let them know they are upset. They know. They read what we post, they are in social groups both public and private and they see. And know.
The thing about boycotting is you can go on social and talk a good game, make a plan to do something...but how do we ever really truly know what someone else is going to do?
Do I think that those who "go black" on a selected day will not be shopping? Nope. We are all creatures of habit and while we get indignant over the wrongs we feel...sometimes the drive for a want is greater than any cause we agreed to when we first got upset.
I shop with my wallet according to how I feel about something. I control my purse so to speak so when I feel a certain way about something, that is how I spend my money. Not by what others think.
Case in point...a certain launch caused me grief. Do you think I want to look at those things?....where once I was excited to have them and now feel a certain way about them because I think of the nonsense that's related to them. I returned the candles to the store and sold off the three pocketbac holders at cost.
I determined how I wanted to do something for myself.
Big Business has to protect its bottom line like a Small Business would too. A small business would most likely do things a bit different, to a point...but if the big business chooses to go about changing up the way they want to offer something...they have that choice ----- and I have the choice to shop it...find someone else to give my hard earned money to, or save my money for another time.
But that is me. I hope those who are upset over the coupon find their choices too.
