My deleting 14,000+ posts on IG was not because of this ---question --- it was because of the constant nonsense on IG that starts with this kind of question, and worse....and I reached the point of I am done....and I am not leaving anything behind.
If you are a follower of my IG you saw that for YEARS the comments were off. I was over the nonsense of having to deal with fighting, bad behavior, links to porn, and outright hate directed at me there. I shared the information and as I could, answered questions via DM's. It was not my only social site. What was the big deal about keeping comments off as a form of moderation on my own page?
This person followed me, and he wasn't a new follower, and all he had to do was ask why the comments were closed in a DM to me. DM's were open...and no question ever came.
But attention seeking at its best...in looking for a community answer...ya, ok....he posted the "why the comments were closed" story. I am sure he got plenty of responses.
Even after my comment on IG....no question was asked. Did he have something he needed to comment...or ask me??? Unknown. He only came back into my DM asking if I was insane because it was not a bad question and told me not to take my life frustrations out on him.
As soon as I saw the story land in my DM...so did the other comments in my DM from him, and others. Then he posted the second story post, and blocked me. I never blocked him.
I get nothing from posting on IG, except bunches of nonsense - for years. People telling me they just want a photo and the information --- they don't want to go to any blog to find out.
There is no joy in it for me, this sharing of information, because for the most part, people hating on me daily is not fun.
So with all of the crap coming in my DM's, this guy is posting on his stories.... I was over this IG...so I sat and deleted all 14,000 posts. I didn't care and I was glad they were gone. You cannot archive 14,000 posts by the way contrary to a popular discussion on a Reddit post that was made subsequently after my post deletions on my IG.
It was my page to do whatever I wanted, and I did. Dramatic? You bet. Just like every post made about me on Reddit and Discord, FB Groups and more. People have a lot to say...I just said mine with a turned off comment section, and a delete button.

Earlier today, the news of a Bath and Body Works coupon policy change came out and ever since...customers of this brand have been voicing their reactions on social media. And their reactions are not happy ones.
The change will begin July 29th 2024 with the release of the Fall 1 floor set:
Any coupon discount will apply to a purchase value up to $250 only. (photo confirmation below).
Anything after that amount will not be discounted. How will this affect those hard core shoppers who spend thousands on candles on the big sale days...or those who buy the pricey luminaries and other accessories? My advice is to check with your store if they will allow multiple coupon usage well before those big purchases happen. They may be enforcing the new coupon policy.

My third visit to the store today! So much to see that I keep missing. The Haunted House Luminary is LARGE...not $275 large for me...but for anyone who is a collector of these...it's pretty nice. I will be going back tomorrow....again....for the candle sale as there are a few I want --- Those Fall Stroll Candles with the little houses on the label. So more blurry photos of candles to look forward to~ haha.
