Bath & Body Works | Teacup Luminary Candle Holder | Flowerpot

This was shared this on my Facebook page a few days ago after I redid it and I wanted to make a post here as well.

 

I never did find the pink or the blue teacups in any of the stores I visited and after the manager in one told me, anything that nice never would have hit the sales floor for floor set as her and her workers would have bought them first, I came to the conclusion I never would be getting them.

 

They are available all over the internet on Amazon, Ebay, and Mercari for more than double the price it was offered in the stores so that was out of the question.  If I wanted a pink one, I could spray mine pink but the yellow color seemed so bright and cheery I decided to keep it as it was.

 

As a candle luminary, it was okay.  But I wanted something more than okay.  I considered putting succulent flowers into mine and making it a teacup fairy garden...I even purchases a micro miniature table and chairs tea set, but the succulents were too low to showcase the teacup.

 

When I hit the greenhouse for my bedding flowers I grabbed some orange symphony (looks like orange daisies), a dolce crème brulee Heuchera (coral bells), and a superbells dreamsicle (mini petunias) to fill the teacup with that color combination...but the flower pot I was using inside of it wouldn't let me use all of that, so they were planted in a large planter with millet and I was off to find something for the teacup, again.

 

 

 I decided on these varieties of flowers: Gazania's, petunias and verbena and the result is perfect. The flower pot is from Wegman's Food Stores.  They have a new brown colored terra-cotta selection of sizes and that looked better than a terra-cotta orange color inside.  I just put a measuring tape inside and measured the width of the top and the depth of the teacup and they had the perfect size for $9.99.  What is great about having the flowers inside of a flower pot is the luminary won't need to be drilled for draining or lined for planting and I can change it out any time....or use it as a candle holder.

Victoria's Secret | New Rose Body Care Line

A week ago a friend asked me if I knew that Victoria's Secret had a new scent in their body care collection called Rose. Because she was remembering that I am always in search of a true rose fragrance she wanted to be sure to tell me about this.

 

I knew there were suppose to be a few new Rose Perfumes coming and I had been asking about them at the store in the mall out of town but they hadn't arrived when I visited. And these new Hydrating Body Lotions, Weightless Body Oils and Smoothing Scrub Washes were definitely not there either.

 

I immediately went online and placed an order as the offer then was $6.00 for all forms. 

 

When I visited the mall again on Tuesday, they finally had the display and product and I grabbed two more; a lotion and the scrub. They were priced $6.00 in the store as well. Of course my order arrived on Tuesday. 

 

I must say, this is the closest fragrance to a natural rose that I have smelled in some time.  It's not a floral in your face trying to replicate but not doing it well...this is amazing and beautiful. Boy was my friend correct!

 

In the store I tried the weightless body oil and my advice on using this product is very little to start.  It comes out of the bottle quickly and a little of this goes a long way.  After I tried it on my arms and hands I rubbed the excess over my hair.

 

For the pricing promotion currently happening in stores and online, I recommend trying this out in the store if you too were looking for something rose scented and grabbing a few if you love it too. 

 

Now if there was a matching hand wash....hint, hint VS.

Today, the signature fragrance Malibu Heat re-released in Bath and Body Works stores and I braved torrential rains to go and grab some.  Hey, it was priced at $6.00 each for all four product forms and with a new Free Signature Item (with a $10.00 purchase value up to $13.00 ) coupon, you can grab a four piece ritual for $18.00.  That makes each item $4.50!

 

 

I remembered the  Ahoy pocketbac and only purchased the one.
 

 

I did Two Transactions Today:

The Lantern Wallflower and a free item coupon to get the Malibu Heat Lotion free

The Malibu Heat items, pocketbac and pearl sleeve and I used a survey coupon.

 

Bath& Body Works | May 12, 2016 Purchases

I didn't think I would find anything new available yet in the few stores I visited yesterday and heaven forbid I ASK a QUESTION    ;)  

 

But as luck would have it I found a few things I had on my list a few days before Monday's new items release.

 

It was mentioned to me earlier that accessories could be out and sold but Signatures must wait until release day.  So I did grab the new Pineapple Drink Wallflower {not sure where I would put it and it was pricey at $14.50 but it was one of those things you come to discover you want---after its sold out}so in the bag it went, and the Lantern Wallflower priced at $10.50. I didn't think I would like the lantern, because I really love collecting the Lighthouses and they didn't make one...yet....but I have come to adore it.

 

 

There was a new Wood Turtle Wallflower and he was cute if you like turtles and had a place to put it.  I am running out of places to plug them in, so I passed on the turtle.

 

The store had one of the Pearl Sparkle Hand Soap Sleeves priced at $9.50, so that was coming home with me to be part of the collection started with the matching scentportable.

 

 

There is a nautical theme hand soap sleeve with an anchor and while it is lovely and on point for that theme of decorating, the problem I have with this kind of sleeve is the bottle would look nicer inside of it if it was opaque.  I think, and it's only me, that the detail of the sleeve is lost with too much going on through the pattern of the metal and if I am going to deal with rust on my sink I want it to look the way I want.  It was priced at $7.50.

 

 

These new, or new to me, flower sleeves with color inside were finally available here.  While they may have been out at other locations earlier, this was the first time seen and available here. 

 

A Turquoise - like Scentportable was found in the display and being a lover of Turquoise this was pretty nice. I didn't think to pick it up to price it, sorry.  But they, too, have been sneaking up in cost...

 

 

 I finally got my Patriotic Hand Sanitizer Holders and refills.  They had just come in from the delivery.  I grabbed a few  YAY SUMMER refills and a plain white holder.  Silly me, I forgot the Ahoy refill that was on my list and available.

 

 

 

 

And finally the new Bounce Back Coupon arrived for the preview to Semi Annual Sale in June.

 

 

 

I did Three Transactions:
