Back at the end of March I started Archive Pages of the upcoming Floor Sets that we will be seeing...Summer, June's Sale (semi-annual sale), Fall, Halloween, etc. and I shared this sunglasses photo with dates to represent Summer New. Summer 1 Sale Sets 5/12-5/13...next week. All of those summer things I have been sharing. June Sale is Semi-Annual Sale and begins June 1st...with it presetting over the days before...in MAY.
It has since made its rounds on social media...and today I am seeing some who have shared the photo and the commentary of the info of the June Sale on it being incorrect.
When the photos alone are "shared" without any information that is included, some may not realize that floor sets are done over many days...phases...so when they see May dates, how we get to the June 1st start of Semi-Annual Sale is lost.
A color coded chart guides the stores to "set" the new collections out as they were planned. Of course when stores stock drops lower than what is required due to sales, some new can be set early to keep the stores look "full." That is why we will see photos on social media from those who were able to get the New before our stores even set it out.
