🧴 Bath & Body Works Store Visit | Summer 1 Sneak Peek: Gingham All-American First Impressions
On today’s Bath & Body Works store visit, I had the chance to preview a few displays from the upcoming Summer 1 Collection, which is officially launching this Monday, May 12th. Several small tables were already set up — and of course, I made time to test every single fragrance.
First Sniff: Gingham All-American
I didn’t spend too long at the Gingham All-American table — its classic, heritage-inspired setup was charming, but the scent didn’t immediately draw me in. I gave the Fine Fragrance Mist a spritz and let it dry down. It quickly turned into something familiar, but I couldn’t quite place it — and not in a “must add to my collection” kind of way.
I was briefly tempted to pick up the Perfume Mini Mist (it's always the cute sizes, right?), but I decided to wait it out until a sale or coupon comes along.
Worth noting: I didn’t see a Pocketbac Hand Sanitizer in this scent yet — not sure if it's coming later or excluded from this particular launch.
💭 Final Take
Gingham All-American is classic and easygoing, but for now, it’s not a collection addition for me. I’ll keep an eye on reviews and see how others describe that familiar dry-down note. Maybe it will grow on me!
