For those who love certain scents of Bath and Body Works candles so much so that you would want those scents delivered to you often...as in a subscription form...Bath and Body Works seems to have launched a Subscription Program where you can do that.

This idea seems to have been trademarked back in June of this year (2024) and we are seeing it come out online here.

What is Scent-Scription?

Scent-Scription is the most convenient way to get your fragrance favorites delivered on the regular. Plus! You’ll get 25% off regular price and free shipping when you order $20 of Scent-Scription products ($20 calculated after all discounts are applied and before shipping, handling and taxes).

Simply choose the products you want and the frequency you want them, and we’ll take care of the rest. You can change your delivery frequency, order date or quantity any time by visiting ‘My Scent-Scription’ in your account. We’ll also send you a reminder email 10 days before each order ships, so you can make any changes or cancellations up to 24 hours before it heads your way.

How do I join Scent-Scription?

It’s easy! Simply select the Scent-Scription option on any eligible items while browsing product pages or in your shopping bag, select your preferred shipment frequency and then check out.


What happens after I join Scent-Scription?

You’ll get an email confirming your Scent-Scription order, which will include a link to “My Scent-Scription” in your account. From there, you can manage your future orders, items and information.

We’ll automatically process your Scent-Scription orders according to your frequency preferences and charge your default card once it has shipped. We’ll also email you important updates, such as if an item in your order is discontinued or out of stock, if you cancel your order and confirmation that your order has been processed.


How do I make changes to my Scent-Scription order?

Any changes will be reflected in your account within 24 hours. (Reminder: you can make changes up to 24 hours before your order processes.)

  • To change an order date: Visit “My Scent-Scription” in your account, select “Change Date” and pick a new date for your order. This will change the order date for the entire Scent-Scription order.
  • To skip a delivery: Visit “My Scent-Scription” in your account and select “Skip It.” We’ll hold off on sending your goodies until next time based on the frequency you selected.
  • To change your frequency preferences: Visit “My Scent-Scription” in your account. There, you’ll see the frequency preference options (every month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months or 6 months) in a dropdown menu. Select the dropdown next to the item(s) you would like to change and select your new frequency preference.
  • To send an order now: Visit “My Scent-Scription” in your account and select “Send It Now.” We’ll start working on your order ASAP. Remember! When you select “Send It Now,” you’re changing the order date for future orders. (For example, if your order’s scheduled for the 10th of every month and you choose “Send It Now” on June 6, the next orders will process on July 6, August 6 and so on.)
  • To cancel an Scent-Scription item: Visit “My Scent-Scription” in your account and select “Cancel Scent-Scription Order” next to the item you want to cancel. We’ll confirm that you want to cancel that order and then ask why. Once you’ve picked a reason, select “Confirm,” and we’ll cancel it and send you a confirmation email within 24 hours.

How do I make changes to my Scent-Scription account information?

It’s super easy! Just visit “My Scent-Scription” in your account to change your account information. Any changes will be reflected in your account within 24 hours. (Reminder: you can make changes up to 24 hours before your order processes.)


How do I view my future deliveries?

Go to “My Scent-Scription” within your account to see your recurring items and order date(s).


How do I combine items to be in the same order?

Scent-Scription items that have the same order date and shipping address will ship together. If you have multiple items that ship on different days and want to receive them all at once, visit “My Scent-Scription” and change the order dates to be the same. Make sure you also double check that they’re being delivered to the same address.


Can I add items to my next order with an existing Scent-Scription order?

Yes! Just make sure you’re logged into your account, go to the product that you want to add to your order and select “Add to Scent-Scription Order.” If it’s eligible for Scent-Scription, you will be able to add it as either a one-time delivery or as a recurring delivery. If it’s not eligible for Scent-Scription, you will only be able to add it as a one-time delivery.


What types of payment are accepted for Scent-Scription?

Credit or debit cards only, please! At this time, we cannot accept PayPal, Apple Pay, gift cards or any other payment options for Scent-Scription orders.


Is Scent-Scription available for all Bath & Body Works products?

Not yet! It’s currently limited to some of our best-selling products only.


What do I do if I have an issue with my Scent-Scription order (item damaged, item canceled, order missing, etc.)?

Oh no! We’re so sorry something happened to your order. Please contact Customer Care so we can make it right.


Do Scent-Scription orders qualify for online promotions?

Sorry! Scent-Scription orders don’t qualify for any promotions that may be running on the day your order is processed. Remember! You’ll still get 25% off regular price and free shipping when you order $20 of Scent-Scription products ($20 calculated after all discounts are applied and before shipping, handling and taxes).


How will I know if an item in my Scent-Scription has been discontinued or out of stock?

We’ll send you an email to let you know if an item in your Scent-Scription order is discontinued or out of stock. If an item is out of stock, we’ll try to fulfill your order within two days after the original order date, but if an item is still out of stock after those two days or discontinued, we’ll cancel it. Note: If one item from your order can’t be fulfilled, we’ll cancel the entire order.


I’m a My Bath & Body Works Rewards Member. Will I earn points for Scent-Scription orders?

Yes! Rewards Members who are logged into their account when the initial order is placed will earn points for all their Scent-Scription orders, but earned Rewards can’t be redeemed on Scent-Scription orders. 


Can I pick up my Scent-Scription order in store using Buy Online Pick Up In Store?

Sorry! Pick Up in Store orders are not eligible for recurring shipments.


Can I get a price adjustment on my Scent-Scription order?
