Candle Day is this Saturday, December 1st so it is time to get your list ready!
If
you are shopping in stores this year, be sure to get your coupons ready
as well too. Online purchases will most likely require a code so no
additional coupon codes can apply.
Make a game plan of how many candles you are looking to get and how you
will break up your purchases for coupons to get the best bang for your
buck. It is important to do it now, with a clear head because once that
gate goes up... impulse shopping takes over!
I know there was a mailer
coupon that offered $5 off of a $20 - $10 off of a $30 - $15 off of a
$40 purchase and there is a 20% off email coupon that expires today,
November 30th. I still have survey coupons remaining so I could use
those too if need be.
Please Note: the thing about the email
coupon is this - the customer service line will confirm that there is a
3 day grace period to allow you to use the coupon for Candle Day. And
many stores will want those Candle Day dollars and let you use it.
But know
there are those stores that reserve the right to NOT take it...and they
won't.
I know my stores refuse to take a coupon, any coupons, past the
expiration date. Looking for a bigger bottom line to meet their sales
goals? I don't know the reasoning behind it.
All I know is, I shop when I can get there and if the coupon is expired, then I spend much less.
