Life Musings | The Price of Happiness

Christmas in July sales beginning in the month of June seems to be the norm as I am listening to QVC's programming the last few hours offering up Holiday Sale items this Friday night leading into Saturday's all-day event.

Scented Musings | Cool Breezes, Hot Cocoa, and Thoughts of Halloween

After an extremely busy day I am finally sitting down with a hot cup of cocoa...yes, cocoa...and ready to share a few musings. The cocoa part made me laugh out loud to type since only a few days ago my office was a scorching 🔥 92 degrees up until 11 pm.

Today it rained all day with promises of heat and humidity returning tomorrow...so I will enjoy the cool evening breezes while they last and my hot cocoa...as I share a few thoughts.

Slowly, but surely, my Bath and Body Works store is setting the final pieces to the "Retro-look" Hand Sanitizer Collection. Today I found three out of the four Hand Sanitizer Refills, but I am waiting for all of them to set before I buy.

It is what always happens for me at this sale weeks into it; I keep buying things in bits and pieces after the one coupon given is gone on the first large purchase, and it costs more than if I grabbed it all at once. If I miss out on something while waiting for anything new to come, I am okay with that.

See It, Love It, Buy It

I stopped in my store today to return the Orange Creamsicle and Mini 4th of July Lip Oils I bought a few weeks ago. Rather than keeping them with the hope of trying all the forms, my not liking the taste of the Creamsicle Lip Mask was disappointing enough not to open anything else in that collection.

As for the Lip Oils — while the marketing was cute (pricey for such a tiny amount of product, but cute), I’m just not a fan of oil on my lips. I probably should have stuck with my first instinct that day and I am glad I didn't open anything.

But you know how it is… you see it sitting in the store, surrounded by matching goodies, calling to you… ha ha, the temptation does get you sometimes.

See it. Love it. Buy it. … and sometimes, Return it. 😂
