Bath & Body Works | Collaborations & MOS Update

It has been asked why some things end up on my archive when the scope of it may exceed the general look inside the walls of a store.  I try to make note of all things that are discussed for the time period that are relevant the other items I write about.  And when customers are hearing about [via social media] some things happening behind the scenes from workers that they are unhappy about--- and they take to social sites to discuss it with workers...I make note of it.

Not everything changes when a light is shone on it... but sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the most grease... Possibly because the public chats brought something to light...there was an update.

Below is my original post made days ago after customers, and workers were telling me in messages what was going on --- and the 3/7 update made regarding the decision.

*Pertaining to the MOS for associate sale that Netflix and Bridgerton items were getting destroyed and disposed of rather than offering them for that sale.

I guess They got special license permission.

"3/7 UPDATE

Great News!  We have gained alignment to include the collab SKU's in the MOS associate Sale and the MOS Donation program!  Follow your normal associate sale process for these items.  Collab items on the box-up list must still be boxed up per those instructions."

My thoughts: I recognize there are contract negotiations that set up the parameters of the licensing agreement for the products being offered and they must be followed.  It does make me happy to know that there were exceptions made to not add more good items to the landfills - and to allow the hard working employees who aided in the sales of these products for customers to purchase - some extras for themselves...and donations.  #itsthelittlethings  #oneteam

Bath & Body Works | Collaborations & MOS

It has been mentioned regarding the collaborations that we have seen release that any items leftover that did not sell out will not be moved to the MOS (employee sale after inventory) or to SAS (semi-annual sale).

The items are set to be discarded/destroyed as per the company and or brand at the contracts end.  I guess it's part of the brands contracts.  Employees are not permitted to take the items and move them to MOS picks for purchase.
