Winter Storm Riley became a Bomb Cyclone Storm here in Pennsylvania
beginning with torrential rains that turned into heavy, wet snow and
pounding winds making this a Nor'easter that won't be soon forgotten.
I worried all day and into the night as the pouring rains fell,
hoping that our basement wouldn't flood as it did not so long ago one
August day. And the rains turned to snow and the winds howled all night
and into the next day and I prayed that we wouldn't lose power. We
were safe and sound and all that was left to do was to use the
snowblower to clean the mess up. The following day, the sun came out and the melting began.
