Bath & Body Works | Accessories Summer 2024

 If you follow me on IG you would have noticed that I shared the First Look at some of the upcoming Summer 2024 Accessories we will be seeing on 4/7.  I did share it here as well, but on the Summer 2024 Archive in the HOT POSTS link at the top of the page.  It may have gone unnoticed by everyone who check only the daily postings.  I haven't had time to make postings until now with some of the new info that has come out yesterday.

I was told the the gingham bag was shown on YT with the blurry floating photo and the watermark covered up so I guess now is a good time to get it in the feed.

These accessories look GREAT!!!!!  I did see the socks...adorable and a must buy....so save me a pair in both colors.  And the floaty, blurry YT Photos don't do those cute, heart coin purses any justice.  They, too, are a must grab.  I saw the Pride Bag and its a must get too...goodness, I think I will be getting all except the gold woven cosmetic bag.  It's nice, but not something I would use.

Bath and Body Works sent a survey out to their Rewards App Members Today regarding a choice for a favorite 3-Wick Candle Fragrance for Candle Day 2024 (12/6. 12/7, & 12/8??).  Check your APP if you want to contribute to the choosing.

I chose THE ORIGINAL.  I have only one of those left and I have been saving it --with the hopes of its return - in this full strength please --- as it is one of thee best scents in my opinion that I have smelled for my home.  While it may not be for everyone, this scent was one of those that made me think of HOME.  Not a sweet, sticky scent, or gourmand...this one, didn't feel like I sprayed a room freshener to mask scent.  

Wine Cellar is incredible too...and I love it....but my allergies and breathing...not so much.

Who knows....maybe we will get ALL of these scents back...

And will CANDLE DAY, be Candle Days....beginning on Friday, 12/6, and continue through Sunday, 12/8?

Life Writing's | And Just Like That....

The Total Solar Eclipse came...and went...and took most of the hoopla with it.  Where I am in PA, the skies were cloudy, the air chilled as the sky darkened a bit as if it was going to rain, the birds running around the feed dish flew into the cover of the trees and silenced...and in a few minutes, it got brighter.

No need for special glasses...as none were sought out.  Light. Dark. And the birds began to chirp again afterwards.  I snapped a quick photo, not looking at the sun, and caught some of the beginning of the eclipse ( center of photo).

Many of the news stations had the minute by minute darkening state by state, and I watched the varying reactions of joy and awe shared.  Indianapolis Motor Speedway was one of the larger crowds I saw and watched the dark to light reactions smiling at everyone's excitement. It was a day of people being brought together to experience something that won't happen for another twenty years.  I hope their experience reminds them of the feeling of togetherness until the next Eclipse.
