Life Writing's | Q & A
I have been asked a lot of the same questions over the past few days in DM's - and I am not sure why but I will jot a few things down now.
We are currently in Spring 3 with a mid-theme update coming soon. I did post that (here)...and it is not a huge update/ release of things...but it is something.
I understand the stale feeling of shopping some have shared. The beginning of the year, coming off of Winter Semi-Annual Sale time and bunches of sales, it does sometime feel like we hit a wall when we have shopped all of what we think are "good" sales for the scents that are out. Since not wearing a mask, I have a new appreciation of the scents that I have missed out on trying, and have shown as much with plenty of purchases.
Many are remarking to me they want sales and when will the sales come out? I do share the sales info when I have it so planning can be done for big, or little, purchases. The sales are never shared for three weeks in advance...and I have never shared three weeks worth of sales. I am not sure why that was asked. Sales are planned and subject to change depending on what the company wants to achieve. Sometimes they are tweaked but most often they stay what is shared.
New info! There is plenty of new coming...and with Summer 1 having a possible 5/12 release date we will hopefully see the new we crave. As far as lists being made, I have been making them.
Not so long ago it was said to me that people are sick of having my sharing as a dangling carrot in front of them - a tease (my information) and they are sick of my lists, hand drawn photos HAHA, my sharing photos...and thinking I know everything. Message received. I didn't claim to know everything and only shared what I did know ----and still do share here.
Will there be a decline in "back room pics?" I don't think so....I think there is a lull in shipping items now so when all of the new comes in, I am sure they will land somewhere.
Regarding availability of products planned verses "tariffs" and shipping imports? I cannot say with any certainty that things will be affected either way now..... I wouldn't know that for sure.....it is something that I thought of.....this girl who loves her colorful pocketbacs and lippies.....so I'm guessing--- that the planned floor set merchandise is probably stored somewhere for some upcoming releases. Much of that would already be made...right? I guess we will see what happens.
Collaborations. I posted a blog with a few ideas that I have hoped could be collabs with a few new movies coming out that would be fun....I am sure there are more to come. I won't share either way if I know or don't know what it could be, it's been greatly problematic for me to say the least.

Life Writing's | Those Fragrance Things That Bring Us Together
Spring is springing here in PA and with every degree closer to yard cleanup and flower planting I am a happy girl. Of course, the rest of this week is looking to be cold, and wet so things to be done outside will still be put on hold for now.
I took a break from all things planned today, and ended up out of the area to have lunch, and shop a little... and it was during that time that something that never happened, happened.
Sitting behind the screen sharing all that I do daily with fingertips on keys does tend to isolate a bit. My pages are pretty transparent of the who I am. People know there is someone behind the pages -- but that's where it is left. So randomly " talking shop" out with a friend today made my day. There was nothing held back, as we chatted...both agreeing on so many things about a brand we love.
And if that part of the day wasn't enough...someone I didn't know....came over to see me....meet me....and hug me, for what I do on my social. Genuine excitement....over me....ha ha....in front of my hubby.
Locally, I have seen a few people shopping in the stores I shop at kinda do a double take when they saw me...share a smile between us as we talk fragrance in the check out line and I smile when they talk about a page they follow for tips.
Today, this beautiful girl was genuinely happy to see me...talk to me --- about the fragrance things that bring us together....and the pitfalls of sharing such...making my heart pieces happy in a very different way I never knew possible and it truly made my day.
