With so much new still to come this year at Bath and Body Works, it's fun to see some of the names of both the new body care and home fragrance collections.
After yesterday's posting of New Body Scents coming, I wanted to break down the information a little more. When we start seeing these scents hit the store, I can add scents notes to everything. Until then, if it is blank, I don't have them.
The first thing I want to talk about is Floor Set Naming and Timing.
I
like to use their chosen floor set names when I share information only
because it makes it more familiar to me when I see the clearance lists
of names of things to know when something came out - especially since so
many scents are recycled from one season to the next.
I'm asked a lot these past few days...when is Fall 3?
We are in Fall 3 currently. It began on Monday, September 27th and it is the floor set change that brought Thanksgiving themed items: candles, hand soaps, three new body care fragrances, one men's body care scents, and home decor pieces...such as that big, gold turkey candle holder.
Next is Christmas 1
The Holiday theme is usually a huge one and at times could take many. many hours to complete. This season, the changeover from Fall to Holiday will be broken down with at least four days of changes.
The dates we should see minor changes happen should be the days after these dates: October - 17th, 21st, 24th, and 31st. BUT I remember seeing on the Perfect Christmas Messaging Candles a release date of 10/14...so...let's just say Christmas 1 will be completed for us to enjoy no later than November 1st.
Christmas 2 and 3? Nothing has been confirmed yet.
If I had to guess -
Christmas 2 could be done for the week of Thanksgiving?? So anytime from November 21st on.
Christmas 3 could be done December 5th, Sunday, for release on December 6th. (The Men's Classic Flannel Scent launches that day the paper read)
Black Friday. Black Friday this year is November 26th...but stores have been having Black Friday Sales all week sometimes so the sale could begin ONLINE on Thanksgiving, November 25th and then continue into the weekend. Or all week long. It is a new, and different world shopping wise so expect changes at any time.
During the Black Friday Sale - we should see Forever Red and A Thousand Christmas Wishes Body Care come back into stores
Cyber Monday Sales should be Monday, November 29th.
Now to the list of fragrances I shared.
This colored card on my previous post is a sales associate card to help them, help us in fragrance choices.
It is to assist newer associates to learn the scent groups and to give them an idea of what group the new, upcoming scents will fit into.
I took those names that I recognized as new and made a list to share with you, but please know this does NOT mean we will not see other - possible fan favorites - return for the season. These are NOT all of the fragrances on the card.
If you don't see your favorites on this list or the home fragrance list I will share, don't panic. They could be coming.
Christmas 1
- Pure Wonder - Iced Rose, Star Jasmine, Warm, White Amber - a stand alone fragrance release we have seen as coming.
- Gingham Heart of Gold - another stand alone fragrance. What makes it different than Gingham, No idea yet. It is on the list for Christmas 1 but with it not yet seen in back rooms, some say it could be Christmas 2.

- Twisted Peppermint - Yes, seeing TP in a different collection than the Holiday Traditions collection feels odd but I am glad it is returning.

- Men's Classic Flannel - a New scent my friend @tiffany_vanessa35 told me last night was a scent she did a survey on some time ago and thought it was coming as Men's Gingham. Same packaging. I love the look of this!!

Exiting After Fall 3 - This means that these scents will either be boxed up and saved for December 26th Semi-Annual Sale, or they will be reduced in price as part of a Fall clearance. I cannot say for sure which will happen. And I wasn't going to take any chances on not getting them so I grabbed the Fine Fragrance Mists in the scents I wanted today at $4.76 each (after coupon) on the $5.95 FFM Sale.
