Bath & Body Works All Body Care Day Starts Online & In Stores 12/12!
Like Santa Claus, it is time to make your lists and check them twice and find out which Fragrances have been naughty or nice, because Bath and Body Works ALL BODY CARE DAYS are coming --- to town!
Scented Musings:
My husband has been coming in stores with me now for some time and it is interesting to see him check products out on the shelves, while listening to the interactions of other shoppers.
Of course, he notices everything that I buy and bring home, but lately I suppose with all of the sales happening with an influx of customers shopping --- he has gotten more curious.
Case in Point -- Body Butter. He likes Gold Bond products, and so do I. My hands dry out so quickly in a day I am trying everything to keep them from their winter cracking. O'Keeffe's, L'occitane, Eucerian, and Philosophy, to name a few -- but with hand washing often comes dryness. Where once I kept my nails long and polished always with no issues of keeping my hands soft, now they are cut short and remain natural. And dried out.
Yesterday I saw him checking out the Body Butters. He called to me across the store pointing out that he found Vanilla Bean Noel Body Butter. I smiled as I came to look and he asked if I thought that would help my hands. Aside from vomiting from the smell of it...no. I cannot wear vanilla, which he found out when he tried to buy me Heliotrope perfume. He mentioned that he heard women talking in the store last week (we were there every day for Candle Days) that they could not wait for this weekend coming and they are going to buy up all of the Body Butters. And they were laughing saying they need their body butter.
An associate heard and pointed out the entire rack of Body Butters already being set and he went over to check them out. He went on to tell me all that he heard on the floor and how serious these women were. I smiled seeing this side of him and told him yes, hydration is key.
We wandered around looking at the new and checked out the New WATER Winter Mint small display at the end of the table, and I grabbed the Perfume Mist to buy, and he showed me the matching Body Cream. Ultra Hydration -- Body Cream. And yes, that too came home with me, and it is currently on my hands as I type. I will write my thoughts of it later.
First, I have to make his birthday lunch, then I will begin to make out my list to see if there is anything I need this weekend for the sale --- and we will be there checking out the Body Butters and what scents I should be getting!
