My store was packed full of all of the spooky delights of Halloween 2026 today. This year I believe we had 71 items --- honestly, not enough for my love of the Holiday. And I sure do miss the years of having a long table with both sides filled with products (out in the front of store or not). This rounder makes it look crowded and sometimes hard to shop. The Luminary ended up on a museum table away from the rounder for the brief time it was set before selling. With the help of the associates, all of the things on my lists of wants were filled.
Now would I have loved more pocketbac holders? YES! of course. Some made to match the Wallflower units (Cotton Candy Cart, Funhouse, etc.) could have been nice. The new flat hand sanitizer spray with a themed label? Sure. A flat sanitizer holder and the mini sanitizer mists like years prior themed on the tables? Why not? Some less expensive Wallflower units, More varieties of Candle Pedestals, Some REQUESTED body care scents? Yes, yes, and oh, Yes!
With this Haunted Carnival/Circus Theme I would have loved more on theme products that expanded out to more characters. Pick a theme...make a capsule collection of all of those on theme items, then have a core collection of regular bring-back products. The cats, the ghosts, the skeleton crawling out of something. Something for the macabre lovers, and something for those who wait for the creature comfort so to speak items that aren't summoning something. haha.
Where is a cross-body bag? We sometimes get a black cat (I have them all). We had a black cat Wallflower unit, Pocketbac Holder, and the Hand Soap Holder. Our yearly tote bag arrived in a gift set (only three in my store and costing $19.95) and it was a packable one. And don't get me started on the lippies. The two Big Top Cap Lip Oils are okay, overpriced for the amount, but ok. Why can't we have the regular lip gloss in the new formula like we had the Milk Cookie Butter with actual adorable Halloween characters on it? Remember the years gone by versions? Fingers crossed for next year. Or until the next Collaboration hits the tables...whichever comes first.
