Bath & Body Works IN STORE VISIT: 1/19/2026 Valentine's Day Set
PA is currently getting some deep freeze weather and with the temps posted throughout the week getting much lower, and into the weekend not getting any better, I took the time to run a few errands this afternoon. And the mall was one of them.
It wasn't only the mall; the dreaded grocery store was also on the list. I don't like grocery shopping. Hubby? He loves it. Looks at all of the food, checks out everything...while I am shoving a heavy cart through a maze of shoppers who also, don't want to be there. I can only assume that because of the faces they make as they block the aisle.
With not wanting to take a statin drug and a dreaded number shooting even higher at the same time my mom's sister took a stroke...there have been some changes happening here --- and needing fresh veggies daily requires extra trips to the store. Fun times. Walmart on Friday (huge crowds) had me rethinking my life choices with Jersey Mikes just around the corner to soothe my nerves. Ha ha. hit me again Mike...and make it your way!
I'm glad I took food service classes in my younger days and love to cook, because all of this prep is keeping me very busy and the changes are showing... so I will complain...and eat my veggies...and salmon.
The excuse for going out in the extreme cold today, before the rest of the much lower temps get here allowed me to hit the Bath and Body Works to see if they too set the Valentine's Day table. It was mentioned it would happen on the 20th...and here we are, today, the 19th. A cute little set up. Nothing driving me to load a bag, but I did want the Violets are Blue Lip Gloss but not for the $9.49 cost. Maybe later if more "must have" sales happen. Must have sales and must have merchandise.
Without saying too much more, for the brand that wants to underwhelm the shoppers who feel "overwhelmed" 🤪shopping in the store...these next few months...and probably all year are going to have things that will not only go for your money in your wallet, but the mad money tucked in the back hidden compartment too. Pace yourself...and brace yourself.
Hey, that's the same thing I say to myself when passing the baked goods aisle.
