Life Musings: LOWES Little Pink Buckets & Carbon Monoxide Alarms
I had no intentions of going out today, but my Carbon Monoxide Detector found a way to change that, so it was off to Lowes --- after Bath and Body Works.
If you ever were woken up at 3 AM from a deep sleep with a screaming noise coming from the basement --- that noise being your Carbon Monoxide detector reaching its end of life --- but you did not know of such things --- and the noise is loud, brain aching loud, and scary, and you need to decide to call the Fire Department -- or figure it out. And you figure it out and toss the noisy one in the garbage outside because it kept on making noise even after being unplugged and go and buy a new one...and then forget about its longevity.
Last night, the replacement reached its end --- same story, just a bit earlier in the night --- giving me a reason to visit my most favorite of stores...LOWES.
There are so many to-dos on my list for this Spring so wandering the aisles after grabbing a new detector just gave me more ideas of how-tos. And then I saw the little, teeny pink buckets were back in stock after selling out so fast...so I grabbed a few. Hubby asked me what use I had planned for them. I don't know -- yet. But I am sure I will come up with something. And I know they won't be making noise in the middle of the night...I hope.
