When I stopped in the Dollar Tree store earlier this week for a paper I saw in the front of the store an end cap loaded up with Gifts for Dad. Aimed at the stereotypical Grill Master and coffee mug carrying guy, I looked through the selection they had and thought it wasn't too bad of a selection for the Dollar store.
Today's Bath and Body Works Wallflower Sales Ad reminded me of the endcap.
Gifts for Dad:
The best gift you can give dad? It's TIME with you. Long conversations, or the simple silence of sitting together.
Paying attention to the not-so-subtle hints of something they need/want is always a great gift.
My favorite gift to give is a basket/box/or item wanted, filled with goodies. An assortment of presents all wrapped in one theme.
For the grill master - Gift Basket
- I would get that wallflower and the dual pack refills. I heard they go perfectly together.
- I would load up on fresh grilling tools. They don't need to come from the Dollar Tree, but that pricing is helpful if you want to get the littles involved to grab dad a bunch of things inexpensively.
- Grill Accessories - Burger Presses, Meat Claws, Baskets, etc.
- Prep Trays
- New High-Quality Apron
- Grab some new, fresh clean-up supplies. I stay clear of the metal scrubby brushes. No one likes metal pieces in the burgers.
- Grab some of his favorite snacks/charcuterie board treats and tuck them in the box. Salami, cheeses, meat sticks -- the works!
- New slippers.
- His favorite body care, any brands he loves, with a new- different choice YOU LOVE too!
- Alcohol/favorite drink
- A really good coffee cup/To go Cup...no corny sayings needed.
- Food Seasonings - Meat Rubs - Sauces
- Magnetic Grill LED Lights for that nighttime grilling
- Custom Made Gift - Personalized Item
His favorite gifts? FOOD. Rastelli's Filet Mingon on QVC is his all-time best gift he said. He's getting one today actually.
