Here is the recent posting from Bath and Body Works advertising their First Time Ever Gourd-geous Candles for Rewards Members Only!
3 -Wick Candles $12.95
Candle Fragrances are: as I mentioned they would be some time ago, Pumpkin Nut Butter and Pumpkin Donut Shop.
These are ONLINE ONLY candles so I don't think BOPIS can be used for this purchase. If they had in store availability, these would definitely drive sales.
According to the Sales Dates Info that I have shared, we should see these candles available online on Thursday, September 5th. We should also see another designer candle drop in stores and online as shared previously on that day too.
Now let's chat about the price.
If you are new to reading me or shopping this brand and you saw the signage shared below with the $11.95 price and you are wondering just what the heck is going on....here's the thing...
Bath and Body Works did NOT say the $11.95 was going to be the price. I shared on my social pages that along with the list of upcoming sales, the stores received signage that you see below.
Other people mentioned they emailed their "friends" and they saw the same signage for the upcoming sale. No other notation was sent out to confirm or change anything until TODAY when the $12.95 price signage was received and this little sponsored ad hit social media.
For all intents and purposes, the pricing was to be $11.95 and it was changed. They do that. They see sales numbers and read all of the "hocus pocus stats" that they read to figure out just where their numbers need to be and what we are willing to pay...and They Changed It.
Not a big deal...really... Want to know why? Because all of the social media "leaks" that we all love to know about do get changed occasionally....and we wouldn't know they were changed....if there was nothing said in the first place. I always make sure that what I share is accurate, changes notwithstanding.
You get an idea of what is coming so you can plan out your spending --- in a time where in no way is this stuff a necessity. You love to see and read the new, from many places....not only me....and as soon as something changes....thee "I am never believing that again!" starts. You are free to believe anything you like and follow any social page that gives you what you need.
They changed the price of a candle sale. It's not full price...and you will still shop it. They will change the prices on tons of things, and release things early, or not at all ---all year long. It is a very fluid business and those who have shopped this fantastic fragrance brand knows it.
Wait until the Candle Day marketing comes and the true price doesn't get revealed until the night they are set....and even then, they can change it. It's what happens.
