On April 10th I posted a blog with your first look at this years Mothers Day VIP tote bag and the products that come in it.
On April 21st, I posted another blog mentioning the Mothers Day Contest that was currently beginning online and I mentioned that on Easter Sunday I made an online order of Wallflower bulbs and added in the new World Getaway Tote.
I received my tote on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014 and shared a video of the products inside of it so everyone could see just how beautiful the canvas tote is in person. It is on my Facebook page and you may need to scroll down a few pictures to see it.
It was priced at $20.00 with any $40.00 purchase and will be in stores with the launch of the new World Gardens line of products (my store mentioned May 9th).
Today, we #BBWinsiders were given the chance at 4pm to get our own FREE of charge World Getaway tote to review. All day I had this feeling we were going to see another item to review so I checked often leaving the page up
...even though we still have not yet received our Endless Weekend to review.
By 4:07pm they were all gone and at that time I was busy serving dinner with my cell phone upstairs and missed out on getting this product. Drats.

Inside this canvas muslin colored tote with gold metallic stripes you will find a beautiful floral pattern. and a pocket. You will also find 8 Bath and Body Works products.
Morocco Orchid and Pink Amber
Top Notes: Lemon Verbena, Succulent Apricot, Desert Sand Accord, Spiced Fig
Mid Notes: Jasmine, Marrakesh Orchid, Turmeric
Dry Notes: Creamy Vanilla, Kashmir Wood, Pink Amber
The Morocco scent is brand new to us and if you haven't tried it in the store yet, you really should. And getting this full sized three piece ritual is incredible since each item is priced: $14.00, $12.50 and $12.50. You could easily make that a gift itself for someone this Mothers Day tossing in that adorable dark pink bath sponge.
The other pieces are tried and true and they, { hand soap, mini candle, mini pafum Forever Midnight and Hand cream can become another gift for someone....Mothers Day or not.
Then you get this zippered tote. Keep it for yourself for toting all those things you need in a day, or gift it filled with these special treats from Bath and Body Works....and/or a beach towel...flip flops and a bottle of sunscreen...(hey, we all need that right?).
This is a $20.00 investment that is sure to please yourself or those you share it with. Grab two if you feel you can't part with this!

Before I had my Smart Phone, I had a phone, phone. Not a dumb phone...just a phone that did what other phones usually did in a day. Made calls. Now in the age of smart everything, the only things phones don't do for you is...well...I can't think of anything actually.
And I was quite hesitant to get a smart phone. I had an I-Touch that worked great if I was around wireless service and I felt if I wasn't around it...I didn't need to be. Then one day our flip phones decided that enough was enough and we stepped over that threshold of modern technology. Which comes with a pretty hefty price.
So I use my phone. A lot. If I could use it while I sleep...I would. Short of buying a Jitterbug phone ...(ha ha my husbands idea) he thought that changing up phones we would reduce our already high cell bill. It doubled. So what can you do but find ways to make and save money.
Today I wanted to mention two that I am doing currently.
FOAP and Surveymini
I found Surveymini in the app store under the free and featured section. And what it turned out to be was this App that asks you to do surveys on places that you have been to and rewards you using a point system. When you accumulate a certain number of points, you can then redeem them for gift cards at the places of your choosing. I don't need to tell you what fragrance store I chose all the time. ;)
While watching the news sometime ago I saw a report about FOAP and how our phone pictures are worth money. Not a huge amount of money mind you, but the more you sell, the more you make. And if you need photos for social media, each one costs only $10.00...for an unlimited amount of uses and unlimited amount of time.
So you never know what you may have snapped at any given time, could be something big businesses or small businesses could want.

My beautiful Saturday morning was spent watching two tree trimmers cutting down my favorite willow tree. It amazes me how quick it took to down this tree, and how agile they were on the highest of branches. Willow tree branches are very pliable and bend easily and while I had to look away a few times, these guys were so professional. I took a lot of pictures of the process (and cried over it earlier in the week) and I will post those later.
Afterwards I did a few errands...one of them being Bath and Body Works and the other was Michaels craft store.
Tonight the World Gardens floorset happens, finally so there may be a few new items out that weren't on the site this week. I am hoping to see it tomorrow, and remember Aloha Hawaii will most likely still be out front.
My purchases yesterday are below. And yes, I love that Sundrenched Vineyard oil, I bought all they had. And there is the new Robot pocketbac finally. Some stores had it out early while others held it for the new floor set. Priced at $7.50 he lights up and blinks.
After groceries, and a trip to Lowes, I went into Michaels to check out some geranium flowers for my front porch. In wandering around I saw the signage on the spring paper boxes making them 50% off, so I grabbed a few.
Today they are on sale 40% off. I love using these for gifts and then for storage and with Mothers Day a few weeks away, I just wanted to share how pretty they are.
The impulse aisle on the way to the checkout was filled with extras like note cards, papers, pens, candles and more to add to the box. These were sale priced at $5.00 and are large in size. Even if you don't fill them with Bath and Body Works items, you can add stationary supplies, craft supplies, scrapbooking items, gardening items...and more. I would use these for baby shower gifts for both baby and mom. There are other patterns non floral and well worth the trip to the store to check them out.

Tokyo Lotus and Apple Blossom
Experience the joyful rush of cherry red lotus & Japanese apple blossom, uplifted by crisp mandarin zest & imperial peony petals
❥My first impression of this scent was that of a woody oriental fragrance. There are those fruity floral notes in the beginning but then the dry down goes straight to the sandalwood and it leads me to the woodsy oriental side. For me, this is a cooler weather kind of scent. It's not a fresh clean summery feel, but I would wear this in the evening going out.
London Tulips and Raspberry Tea

❥It has been said that this is a redo of Wild Berry Tulips but after trying each on both arms....it's not, in my opinion. And actually, London Tulips and Raspberry Tea smelled out of the bottle and on my skin... is SO much nicer. Definitely a fun, fruity floral scent. This I can wear in the spring summer time and not feel it's too strong.
Morocco Orchid and Pink Amber
Lush Morocco orchid, sensual amber & succulent apricot capture the rich warmth of a lively marketplace and glittering desert
❥I have been wearing this for awhile now and I think I would call this a soft oriental floral scent. My impression is that of a light floral notes mixing with the mystery of incense. It is not my typical go to scent, yet it's so wearable I think anyone could. Again...not a summery feel scent to me...I would use this in colder , sweater weather or for evenings out.
As I always say, fragrance is a very personal thing. I suggest trying each of these, either in store....or better yet, grab some travel sizes and try them out at home.

In seeing the new Forever name for sometime on the trademark site, I am reminded of the past few years around June and July when the new sneak peek preview of the Forever scents came out to try for a few customers chosen by the store managers. And there was the preview of marketing shown in some stores to see what customers thought about the marketing direction of the scent.
So I am thinking that this will be this holidays new Forever scent....Sapphire....and it makes me wonder what notes it will have....This blue stone of Destiny.....
