Initial Thoughts:
I am a pumpkin carving, leaves raking, walk in the woods admiring the wonders of nature,
autumn-loving girl who has always loved the feel of life after the heat
of summer has passed. It has always been my most favorite time of the
year. October bride here...( a hundred years ago).
Sights, Sounds, and Scents. Autumn grounds me.
So what better to scent my day than with the new HomeWorx by Harry Slatkin Harvest Leaves Candle.
I burned this candle
for about four hours and extinguished it while I cooked dinner. The
throw on this incredible scent was down the stairs and throughout the
house in no time but was never overwhelming as candles can sometimes
get. With every pass of the summer breezes through the windows, I
caught what seemed to be a different scent note. As if the fragrance
evolved as it burned my perception of the dark woodiness of the
applewood and tart of the cranberry that I was smelling now somehow
changed and I got a hint of citrus in there. There is a warmth of apple
cinnamon ( not strong ) but I can't say with certainity that I smell
pumpkin.
The New four wicks get your fragrance dispersed quickly and this burgandy and gold packaging coloration of the label and wax makes this a classic must have for your collection. This is the candle you take with you as a hostess gift. That is if you can part with it yourself.
