Initial Thoughts:
Over the past few days I have been busy burning all of these new HomeWorx by Harry Slatkin candles for two reasons. One is because these candles will be offered tonight, at midnight and all throughout the day tomorrow as a Today's Special Value on QVC and I wanted to be sure to get my thoughts on each of these jotted down to share since they did just arrive.
And the other reason is...it is so hot and humid outside, I need something to put me in a more enjoyable state of mind.
These two collections ( fall and holiday) will do just that for you.
So here I am... in my office with just the light of the desk lamp...the television and the reflective flicker of the candles burning behind me... and the Mistletoe Magic candle is filling the air. Super, duper filling the air. This is a candle that will fill a large area quickly if this throw is any indication of its power. Wow!
And I am smelling...and smelling...and it hits me. Evergreen.
This is an exquisite Evergreen trees candle scent. I know all of the HomeWorx Brand candles are newly created scents and after hearing the detailed way candle scents are created I certainly believe it. But this candle is Holiday...and Christmas...and every perception you have of those words and ---Evergreen.
We all have olfactory perceptions locked inside of our brains from initial impressions of a scent...and each of us cannot read the same scent in the very same way. How boring would that be, right? And my brain is reading this as my all time favorite....
I am a tree loving girl.... And even with the wax color being red... my brain said, "Ah Ha! You are a Green Tree! "
This elegant candle deserves a spot in your candle collection...it will become your classic fragrance choice year after year.
