I mentioned yesterday on my Facebook page that tomorrow in Bath and Body Works stores there would be a sale happening....
Buy 3 get 3 FREE.....
And I just called my stores in the area that I shop to confirm that it is happening and I was told yes it was.
So just to clarify what that means because some weren't sure.... it means everything in the store is no longer at any sale prices.
Everything is at its regular marked price.
If you have a coupon for a free item or a percentage off, you can use those at the register... And I will look quick and post pictures of any coupons still valid at the bottom of this blog.
What I love about this sale is it lets me get things that aren't usually at a great sale price. Accessories and such.
And yes, this sale includes gift sets too!
What I like to do is make sure I pick out things around the same price range....not necessarily the same grouping of products. For example... I can grab some hand soap priced at $5.50 a bottle....and say I only want 5, so for the 6th item (buy 3 get 3) I grab a pocketbac holder also priced at $5.50. All of the items are the same price....so for $16.50, I got 6 items.... making each $2.75
The first time I shopped this kind of sale I didn't put much thought in what I was getting and I was excited as were the other shoppers and I was tossing things into the bag and I plopped the bag on the counter and the SA rang everything up and all of the LOWEST priced things became my free things.
NOT COOL.
Things like scentportable refills and pocketbac refills....
Now, I pay attention...even to the point of getting another bag to help sort. And I ring things up in groups according to my coupon use.
------------------------
Say I want to get some soap....so I grab 6....they will ring up a total of 16.50---- Paying for three @ 5.50 each... (and the computer will automatically price adjust them down to $2.75 each...) then I can use my free item coupon and get something else free up to $13.00. So for 16.50 I will get approx. $46.00 worth of merchandise. Lots of GIFTS!!!
-------------------
Or, if you want some 3 wick candles....(should there be any left after this weeks employee sale of $5.00 per) You buy 6 candles at $20.00 each .....you pay $60.00 {$20. x 3} making them each $10.00 BEFORE COUPONS.... and if you use a 20% off coupon.... it makes your total now $48.00 or $8.00 each....
It's not complicated....just make sure you prepare yourself well so you don't get taken advantage of.
