Walmart recently released their Spring Beauty Box and I wanted to share what I found in mine.
I received the first one a week ago and the second one yesterday. When they are ready to ship, they do send an email letting you know that they are available and ask you to confirm your information to be sure it gets to you. Some how, I ended up being charged for two, which was fine since I received both.
Let me begin by saying I LOVE these beauty boxes. They give us a way to try products we may be passing up in the store at very little cost to us. These Walmart Boxes cost $5.00 shipped. There is no charge for the box, just the shipping.
Box No. 1:
Colgate Optic White Platinum Toothpaste - net wt. 1.45oz tube - I have been using this for the past few days. The taste and feel of the toothpaste is much different than what I am accustomed to as its not a smooth paste. It states on the packaging whiter teeth in 3 days. I haven't found evidence to that point yet. I am a coffee/tea drinker daily and I do plan to use up the tube to see if I notice any change.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - 1 fl. oz. - I have tried this brand previously and do love the way it works. This size is perfect to travel with so this will be used on vacation.
Vera Wang EMBRACE - Rose Buds and Vanilla - EDT spray .04 fl. oz. - I LOVE this fragrance. Works perfectly with my chemistry and I appreciate a mini spray to try before I would commit to a large, expensive version.
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer - 2 fl. oz. - I used this on my hands and forearms. Applied after showering, a small dab...no need to rinse off, just pat dry. I feel a film on me at first. My skin is soft but on my hands it feels like a film, not clean. After a few minutes, the film feeling changed and they just felt smooth. I will try it on my body in the shower and see how it feels afterwards.
Banana Boat Sun Comfort 30 Broad Spectrum SPF - 1 fl. oz. - I use Banana Boat products and I love the way they smell and work. This is lightly scented which dissipates quickly and is NON GREASY. This trial size is perfect to keep in my purse for touch ups throughout the day.
ROC Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Face, Neck and Chest Cream - 0.17 fl. oz. - I have yet to try this on my F
Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Restorative Night Cream and Daily Moisturizer - 0.05 fl. oz. - I will try these and review.
Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream and Tone Perfecting Cream Moisturizer - 0.02 oz, one use samples - I will try these and review.
Burt's Bees Renewal Intensive Firming Serum - 0.06 fl. oz. - one use sample - I will try this and review.
Neutrogena Health Skin Liquid Makeup BS SPF20 and Oil Free Acne Correct & Cover Pink Grapefruit Moisturizer - Drop samples on a card with coupon - I appreciate companies sharing their products, but when it comes to makeup foundation samples, it is very hard to get an idea of which color works with a dab sample to work with. This card came with 12 foundation dots to cover their expanded shade range. As for the Pink Grapefruit it is available in two sheer shades: fair to light and medium to tan. I am a fair or light and this is not as sheer as you would think and looks like I am wearing a tan mask. It does smell like Pink Grapefruit, and does include Salicylic Acid acne medicine. While I do like Neutrogena products, This sheer moisturizer is a pass for me because of the color.
Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick - #110 Almond Nude - Full Size turn up lipstick - LOVE - LOVE this product and it will be a purchase in other colors. It has a hint of a scent and slight taste and the color is slightly sheer and perfect.
