When I share the Weekly Sales Lists, they are what is scheduled for the stores/online from the company itself on Thursday - subject to change of course (but that does not happen often as we may have been seeing)

  • I don't ever use previous year's sales lists as predictors of what "Could" happen now.  Every year is different depending on what products are being offered and using that as a guide only causes confusion and upsets customers when they hoped something they wanted was coming on sale, and it didn't.  
  • I don't share previous year's sales lists at all as current sales lists - All sales lists that have happened in years previous are shared in an archive post only.

  • There are times that I don't share sales weekly as that weekly look ahead, but I do post what is offered daily --- in a daily posting blog and in the current years archive HERE

  • I don't use someone else's list, I trust only the information I see for myself as fact, and not something I am told could be coming.  I do know the value that is placed on sharing the correct information, (for all of my info) especially when it is regarding saving money, getting the most for your dollar, and getting what you need at the best price.  Changes happen, but offering excuses for disappointments is not what I want for my readers.

Bath and Body Works Is Turning 35 This September!

This September, Bath and Body Works will turn 35 years old.  Founded in 1990. the first store opened in Cambridge, Massachusetts in September of 1990.  Girl, you don't look a day over 20!  

And if you bring the "cake" we will help you blow out all of those candles!!!  Who doesn't love Cake???  Yes, yes, I do love sweets.

Any who, we look forward to celebrating you --- and hope to have some great Birthday Specials, Sales, and Presents for us as we help you celebrate your birthday month, week, and day.

What If Bath and Body Works Made A Candy Shoppe Collection - Just In Time For Halloween Treats

The air turned crisp overnight, dipping into the low 40s, and just like that, autumn has slipped quietly onto my doorstep. There’s something about these brisk, golden mornings that stirs a need for change -- inside and out. 



My porch is calling for pumpkins and mums, while indoors I’m drawn to cozy, candlelit corners, rustic textures, and the comforting pull of all things pumpkin-spiced. It’s that magical time of year when sweaters feel like a hug, the air carries a woodsy sweetness, and home becomes a haven of warmth against the cool, misty nights.

With the crisp nights nudging me toward fall decorating, my mind is already skipping ahead to Halloween and the fun of trick-or-treat. Building The Walls Of A Brand - One Fragrance At A Time

Scented Musings.

I listened to the Bath and Body Works Q2 Webcast this morning after it launched and I wanted to sit with it for a bit before I typed out my notes of everything talked about.  Last week I noticed the notation of it scheduled for today, so I marked my calendar and listened to it a few more times as I typed making sure I wrote down everything that was mentioned and the questions that were asked afterwards.  There were a few top items shared that I have highlighted in my post.

Business Earnings Calls regarding a brand that I use with a recent changing of the guard?   Of course, it drew my curiosity as to the direction this fragrance brand may be heading. 

Am I cautious or concerned?  No.  Businesses work towards their goals --- making money and working with those who are giving them the money to work with.  Consumers show businesses which directions work for them, with the power of their purchases.  

I've noticed more and more the "story telling" aspect of sales...Especially on QVC of late.  Personally, I don't need a story to convince me of how I am going to wear a dress or jacket if I purchase it...because you are describing a "woman" who is walking in the rain in Paris to have lunch with a friend etc...  Or the candles being sold describing the mood they will set from the fragrances chosen to make it.  Those are things I will find out for myself when I put on the clothes and burn the candle.... My perceptions are my own.   I want quality in the products I purchase first, and the rest will come after.  And if the price isn't right, I may pass on it all together.

More detailed photography and filling the windows with those appealing scenerios to make you feel as part of something is expected and will draw new customers who may be searching for that thing, at that moment.  Those who have been already a part of this something for a very long time that helped build the walls of the brand, want to be included too.  In those practices that work for us.  

I look forward to seeing what Q3 has shown --- and what is next. 💙

After listening to the one-hour webcast for the Q2 Earnings Conference Call I shared the details of the conference call (so you wouldn't need to if you didn't want to sign in, and listen to an hour of corporate talk, with Q&A from investors), I shared all that was said, "corporate talk" to keep a reference.  It is what corporate people do --- talk in big words to describe for one another how they are going to proceed to do things they have planned to make things better --- to make more money.  If you don't want to read the verbatim of an hours' worth that I typed out after listening to it over and over again to make sure the statements were as close to what they were saying with no exaggerations, here are a few things to make note of:


They entered into a MULTI YEAR partnership with ©DISNEY 

They want to lead on Product Benefits, not only Discounts.

Mother's Day was disappointing, needed more New Fragrances. Growth in Men's, and True-Blue Spa relaunch.

They are going to be editing to Smaller Assortments Selections with lower discounts because some shopper said they were overwhelmed with so much stuff to chose from.

I know most fans of the brand aren’t tuning in to the quarterly earnings calls or digging into the investor spreadsheets—and I totally get that. But for me? It’s a mix of accounting geekery, love for a brand I use daily, and just a dash of curiosity (okay, nosiness!) about where we’re headed.

This morning’s Q2 2025 call gave us our first 105 days at the vision under the new CEO (Heaf), alongside key insights from executives Boratto, and Long. I know that I am not the only one who has been having some difficulties in getting any information on the Bath and Body Works Rewards Member App over the past few days -- and it is odd that it was not functioning properly during the MEMBER FEST last day when we would be using it more.  

I've tried to check on my two orders, search for products, and check on rewards and I keep getting the -- "Oops! Content Failed To Load. Tap The Heart To Retry" message.

After reviewing the Earnings Call, it would seem that there are some changes coming to the Loyalty APP this SEPTEMBER -- which for the most part seems that it's in the nick of time. 

Could they be working on changing things over to the updated newness now, three days before September?  Time will tell.

Earlier this month, Bath and Body Works sent out BOOKSMART PR Boxes and here are two that I came across tonight while scrolling IG.  @lkcreads, and @thecontouredlibrarian shared all of the goodies that came inside the boxes so check out their pages to see what they received.

I had no idea that they did this PR box, and when I was in Bath and Body Works during the release of the Book Loft, and saw all of the forms it came in, I thought what a great PR box that would be for those who love reading, and great content for a gift basket.  And yes, I loved all of the labels on everything with the little books, and glasses, etc. 💙

With only 16 items released during our MEMBER FEST two-day Early Access to the upcoming ©DISNEY VILLAINS Collaboration - there has been plenty of discontent shared on social everywhere regarding the lack of products offered.

People woke up early to grab those things they thought would be coming --- possibly to avoid the craziness for the September 3rd Launch, (Princesses Release was madness).  

When I see these larger-than-life collab launches, I think of those (who are friends to my blog) who cannot shop in-stores for a few reasons; immune-compromised, and physically unable to get to a store to name a few. 

They message me how much they enjoy seeing the archive and thoughts on the products shared socially, (by others too, not just me) so that they can shop online with more confidence in what they will order.  Plus, it gives them a chance to see the floor sets --- so even my blurry photos help.  Haha.

I mention this because we will be seeing more press releases / photos to build the hype for the upcoming release.

Months ago, I added a few names that we could see coming for Holiday '25 and one was Touch of Gold (as a Women's Fragrance) and I think Victory (as a Men's Fragrance) on the Next On The Page list.  Thanks to a kind friend from Canada, we have a first peek at what it could be. 💙

I was up this morning with my husband's 4:30AM Medication alarm and decided I may as well stay up and watch for the Early Access Online Only to begin.  With quite blurry eyes I searched the site to see if there was anything else I wanted to add to purchase -- and as the hour and a half passed my excitement grew.

It was quite surprising to see the 16 items that launched with nothing else added.  

Granted, I am not grabbing the entire collection of items, but there were a few others I had hoped to get early.  I also hope that the shipping process for these items is as fast as it was on the:

 " Summerween I SCREAM FLOAT" TIKTOK Shop set that some ordered.  Also, here's hoping they don't hold back these orders until the grand release.  I know that employees can get their gratis for this floor set re: ©DISNEY on the 27th.

Looking over the list of products we know are coming, and seeing some of the pricing on them, there are only a few qualifying items pricewise that we can get with our Member Rewards.  (Since Accessories are no longer permitted to be redeemed, below is a list of things, I think we could get.  I am not sure what the Diamond Shimmer Mist is going to retail - I suspect $19.95 and it's too bad only a travel size mist and body wash is the only body care we can get.)  The bright side is I think the single wick candles will (fingers crossed) come in at the $18.95 reward.

My order cost $42 for two pocketbac holders and 6 refills.  I wanted the other magic mirror pocketbac holder, cosmetic bags, and the lip gloss.  At this rate, I'm going to need a bigger budget. 😊
