🧴 A Box? Really? | Father's Day Purchase with Purchase 2025
So, I did hear that this year’s Father’s Day Purchase with Purchase from Bath & Body Works was going to be offered at a much more reasonable price point—finally, right? And yes, I heard it would come in a box. (Cue dramatic pause.)
The fragrance choices? No surprise: Ocean and Mahogany Teakwood. Oye. Again. We get it—these are the top sellers. But here’s the thing:
Where’s the wow?
No candle?
No tote?
No gym bag or shaving gel?
Not even a new scent?
Just. A. Box.
How is that a “Purchase with Purchase” and not just a sample starter kit in a cardboard cube? I really thought something a bit more curated or unexpected would be tucked inside. Maybe something elevated... or at least something different.
Wouldn’t Honorable have been a fantastic choice for this set? A scent that says, “We actually put thought into this,” not just, “Here's what was already on the shelf.” And for goodness' sake—Dad deserves something special. Not just another restock of what he already has under the sink.
Also—those Everyday Luxuries Men’s Edition scents? The four-fragrance collection? They're still sitting quietly in test stores, waiting for their moment. Now that would have made an incredible Father’s Day gift. Imagine that collection tucked into one of Bath & Body Works’ sleek DOPP kits—elevated, masculine, luxurious.
Now that’s a gift.
Now that’s a reason to make a second purchase.
