I don't know about anyone else, but I am liking this gingham plaid packaging Bath and Body Works is showcasing the Fresh Picked line in. For me, it is a reminder of the store from years past. I am talking when you could buy a bar of soap fresh cut for you and wrapped in wax paper and the awnings were still over the doors. A few stores I shop at still have the awnings, but for the most part the rest of the stores near me are modernized. In a world where we are trying to change our thinking and get back more to nature and fresh and good for us, this new line--- simple fresh good no.93 main ---- packaging design hits the mark. After loving the marketing designed packaging, Next is to try out the product.
Now the nourishing hand cream packaging is.... BLAH. It does not draw me in. Adding a border and the name of the item.....too simplistic. I mean if the scents being offered in this new formulation is your scent, then you probably don't really care what the package looks like, you want the product inside to be wonderful. And that's fine.
I like ta---dah.
If I made up two gift baskets; one with fresh picked strawberries and one with warm vanilla sugar items in it to showcase the new hand creams......which would you walk over to see....and read the packaging? If neither were your scent, which would you want to try?
