Break out the piƱata because it's time to celebrate Cinco De Mayo (Spanish for the 5th of May) this weekend! We love anything Latin so we're throwing a party bursting with mucho music, mariachis, margaritas and more! Create your own fiesta with tropical fragrances filled with the iconic fruits of Mexico!
Make guests say "Holy Guacamole" with the best margarita mixed outside of Mexico!
Island Margarita
Ingredients:
1 lime
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
3 mangos seeded, chopped and frozen
6 oz. tequila
4 oz. Triple Sec
8 oz. sweet and sour mix
Glass: Margarita
Garnish: Lime, coarse salt and 10 mint leaves for rim
Directions:
Seed and chop mangoes. Place them in an airtight container and freeze for one hour.
Remove the mangoes from the freezer and place them into your blender. Add all other ingredients and pulse on high for one minute.
Chop mint leaves and place in a shallow bowl. Add salt to bowl and crush with the backside of a spoon.
Dip them rims of the margarita glasses in water and then in the salt mixture.
Pour mixture into the prepared glasses.
Garnish with a slice of lime.
Serve and enjoy!
