If you walk into any Bath and Body Works store lately you will find your self inundated with Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins as far as the eye can see. The air is heavily fragranced with some form of pumpkin scent (apple pumpkins in mine) and the tables are decked out with what I can only call a very interesting marketing ploy....A pumpkin Carving Party theme. What could only have been better was an actual event at that time of launch. Hay bales, stacks of pumpkins and employees dressed up in theme.
Now I have seen different store pictures from all over the web showing various layouts from the latest of floor sets and some are truly lovely....while others at the older stores like mine are simple. And each one has shown this one theme in common this year....This fall Traditions picture of pumpkins on a warm colored background and items tucked into simple cardboard boxes bearing this labeling as well as hang tags on products. Bath and Body Works way of tying everything pumpkin themed together.
I have purchased that orange pumpkin, a six pack of wallflowers gifted up in an egg crate, as well as a few other items. There were boxed brownies online with the same packaging as a free gift with purchase and today I noticed on B&BW Sistas fb page she posted a Triple Layered Candle bearing the same labeling as all of these other things currently out. She shared a picture from Cia she noted and this item was apparently available in a store she was recently shopping at. I didn't see any other photos of the candle to know if it was part of a stack on a table somewhere as part of this overall Pumpkin display or tucked nicely into a clearance bin ( my store has a table of clearance items still out) but because it does have a label on it that matches all of the other items for the Pumpkin Carving Party....I am guessing its out on a shelf or table.
Creamy Pumpkin, Roasted Pumpkin Butter and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin are the different scent layers listed on this candles label and it looks to be your typical 3 wick size jar and price. I really enjoy other candle brands who use three layers of scents as long as the layers all blend well. Each point where one is melting into another has to be done right or the scent can really be off and well, stinky.
As for this three layers availability yet in stores, that I don't know for sure. I am guessing if it is out in one, it could possibly enter in the mainstream of test stores and then nationwide release. If it was already out I am sure it would have been posted somewhere socially before now. Or it could be a single candle released to see how the demand for an item like this would be. Honestly, I am shocked that B&BW hasn't gotten into the triple layers before now. And it would be a miss-step on their part to not have this everywhere.
With all that I already own candle-wise I am not clamoring to get my hands on this. Should it appear, I would try it...but I am not going to look for it.
But should it show up at a store near you...get your pumpkin party on and Carve into it!
